Judging of the birds began on Friday January 7th . 33 judges are looking over approximately 80 birds each. Judges don't know which type of pigeon breed they will be judging until they arrive at the show and receive their assignments. The judging is completed in one day. No exhibitors are allowed in the showroom on this day except in the case where a judge is also an exhibitor. In that case judges are assigned to breeds they are not exhibiting.
